About Me

• I am a Pediatric Pulmonologist who has completed a Doctorate (DM) in "Paediatric Pulmonology" from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Jodhpur. My training has provided me with extensive experience in a broad spectrum of pediatric pulmonology procedures and skills, including the management of conditions such as Cystic Fibrosis, Primary Ciliary Dyskinesias, Asthma, Interstitial Lung Diseases, Primary and Secondary Immunodeficiencies, Airway Malacia, Anatomical Variations, Foreign Body Aspiration, Aspiration Syndromes, and more.
• I have developed expertise in several specialized procedures, such as pediatric flexible bronchoscopy with bronchoalveolar lavage, pulmonary function tests, aquagenic wrinkling tests, sweat chloride collection and analysis, FeNO and nasal nitric oxide estimation, immunodeficiency workups, skin prick tests, airway clearance techniques, and polysomnography.
• My involvement in medical research has been a significant aspect of my career. I have led intramural projects during my undergraduate and postgraduate training and have published numerous research articles in both PubMed and non-PubMed indexed journals. Additionally, I authored a chapter on "Esophageal pH Monitoring" in "Essential Pediatric Pulmonology," a widely recognized reference book in the field of pediatric respiratory medicine in India.
• My areas of special interest and expertise include Cystic Fibrosis, infectious respiratory illnesses, pediatric asthma and allergy, and pediatric bronchoscopy.
